Upon acquisition, David will assume a management position and play an important role in the day-to-day operations of the acquired companies. David founded Succession Equity in pursuit of his life-long passion for entrepreneurship and small business.

Prior to founding Succession Equity, David worked as a business development and management professional with a record of contributions in product management, marketing, and innovations in Fortune 200 sales-oriented organizations such as Frito-Lay, Kimberly Clark and Energizer as well as supporting start-ups.  He is a pragmatic manager and hands-on leader skilled at negotiating and developing collaborative working relationships with employees, vendors and customers.  David’s strong analytical, critical thinking and detailed-oriented strategic planning skills allows him to anticipate while effectively executing present responsibilities.

In addition to U.S. experience, David’s broad background in international, multicultural relationship building makes him quickly adaptable to different business models, management styles and local practices.  Having studied and worked abroad, David is fluent in Spanish and conversant in Portuguese with professional experiences in Latin America and Europe.

David received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of North Carolina and a MBA/MIBS degree from the University of South Carolina, graduating in the top 5% of his class.
